Ruth Montgomery is the Project Director for “Inuulluataarneq” a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Community- Based Participatory Research project. She has 20 years’ of experience teaching medical, nursing and midwifery students at colleges in Denmark and Greenland and has worked extensively with students, teachers and professionals in Greenland, doing clinical supervision both in schools and universities settings in Greenland and Denmark. Montgomery has managed for a large range of research and health promotion projects, produced 3 films, and has done international consultancy in strategic development of projects concerning mother-child health at the International confederation of Midwives in the Haag, Holland. She is a PhD student at the Nordic School of Public Health, Gothenburg, Sweden.
