Researchers´ Profiles - Amanda Ritchie


In 2000, Amanda completed a joint bachelor of sciences degree in Biology and Anthropology at Trent University. The year that followed was spent in a post-graduate program in Museum Studies. After completing an internship at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, she commenced a Masters of Science degree in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Loraine Marrett at Cancer Care Ontario currently supervises Ms. Ritchie in a doctoral program at the Institute of Medical Sciences to investigate the determinants of breast cancer survival among First Nations women in Ontario.
